Step 1: Fill Out a New Patient Application

Committing to improving your health can feel like a big deal, and we want to make sure you feel comfortable with the process of working with us. We’re happy to answer any questions that you have before we start working together.

This program has the highest 1:1 support as we help you to improve your hormone health- for good! If you’re interested in starting Hormone Replacement Therapy, a 6-month minimum commitment is required.

Step 2: Wellness Assessment —Time To Get Started!

Root-cause medicine requires a thorough health history.

On this initial virtual telemedicine intake we’ll get the picture of your past & current diet, lifestyle, menstrual cycle, sleep, stress, energy, and digestion. We’ll review all body systems to get a full picture of where you’re at now. We’ll review your medications and supplements and give you personalized recommendations. 

Because whole-person medicine is our priority, we’ll also discuss your mental, spiritual, social, and emotional health.

Together, we’ll go over your conventional & functional lab testing options. Labwork is a fantastic way to get concrete information about what is going on in your unique body and help us fine-tune our wellness plan. Our doctors utilize both conventional bloodwork and specialized functional medicine testing to get a picture of your hormones, your gut health, and other biomarkers like food sensitivities or nutrient deficiencies.

Then, we’ll start crafting your Care Plan. While waiting for lab results to come back, we’ll help you get started with some changes right away.

Your plan may include diet and lifestyle changes, herbal medicine, and/or nutritional supplementation

Step 3: Wellness Follow-Up

During the second visit (Wellness Follow-Up), we’ll review your lab results and use them to fine-tune our plan for bringing your body back into optimal health. Labs give us concrete information about where you are, and what you’ll need moving forward. 

You’ll be armed with information and the tools you need to feel better quickly, as well as encouragement so you can implement habits to achieve your best, healthiest self. You’ll leave the visit with customized recommendations and feel empowered and supported as you embark on this stage of your healing journey.

Step 4: Health Transformation (4-12+ months)

This is where the healing happens. Everyone’s health transformation is unique, and improvements usually take time.

You’ll be supported in your journey with check-ins every 4-8 weeks for at least 6 months, depending on what you’ll need to reach your goals. If we’re making BIG changes or you have multiple health conditions that need to be addressed, we usually check in more often. Once you’re feeling much better, we space out the visits and check in as needed or for yearly or biannual wellness checks.

Step 5: Health Maintenance (ongoing)

Congratulations, you’re on your way! You’re feeling like your best self, and now we just have to help you stay there. But life happens, and we may need to adjust your plan every once in a while. You may need screening lab work, immune health guidance, and health optimization guidance.

I’m here for encouragement and accountability. We’ll schedule maintenance visits as well as yearly labs and follow-up visits to make sure you’re feeling like your best self.
